Welcome back once again everyone!
If you guys have been listening to our podcast then you know that I have hopped onto the digital comics train. Let me just say that for busy people it is so convenient. Additionally, it saves so much space which I am sorely lacking in. The good news for all of you who may be reading this is that I no longer will get behind and not be able to talk about certain books. Please feel free to ask me about any books I do not pick up and why or to ask about anything I left out.
Alright, so on the Marvel front I have been very happy overall. All New All Different Avengers has been an all-star series so far and I cannot express how excited I am to see Kamala Khan, Miles Morales, and Jane Foster Thor all together in one book. These characters, in my opinion, are the future of Marvel with the possible exception of Jane as Thor. All New Inhumans has been interesting. I like the line-up but the story has not totally picked up yet. I'll keep you posted on how much better or worse it gets. Carnage is not everything that I hoped for. I miss the Axis Carnage that I loved so much. I am not sure how much I enjoy this book but we will see. The new Daredevil, as I said last time, is much different than Mark Waid's take. However, it is interesting, dark, and the last issue was crazy. I can't wait to read this issue. I read the Secret Wars Old Man Logan series and I found it great so I am looking forward to this series. Kanan has been another series that I have thoroughly enjoyed. When I first starting reading the series I had not seen the Rebels TV show but not I have. You get so much more from this series than the television show. I love it. Read it.
Batman and Robin Eternal has been so strong. It did start off slow but has picked up a lot and I have enjoyed it especially in the recent issues. We are learning so much about the history of Batman and Dick Grayson and even Tim Drake. There may be some pretty significant reveals in this series and any Batman fan should be reading this. Deathstroke is top notch and Tony Daniels needs a lot of credit for that. The art is magnificent and the story is told so well. Justice League of America had a one off issues that kind of took me out of it but has gotten back on track and I really enjoy the main story. If you know who Roa is in Kryptonian mythology then read this.
Saga is one the indies on the list this week and I feel like I have said all I need to about this book. It is just unbelievable. The world, the characters, the story; it all just flows so freely and I can't express how beautifully constructed this series is. Beauty is the other indie and it has been fabulous. I can't say that it is a series for everyone but I enjoy it quite a lot.

Welcome back to the Buy List everyone!
There really is not a great deal to talk about this week. I have finally caught up on Batman and robin Eternal and the series has been expected. I still believe that Scott Snyder and his team are the only people qualified to write Batman stories. They are unbelievable in how well they understand these characters and what they represent. Batgirl has also been very good but in a different way. The art is fun and colorful and the story is engaging.
Deadpool has only gotten better every week. Last week's issue saw the end of the arc and I quite look forward to this issue. Ms. Marvel is a series with so much heart and so much to offer readers. I can't speak highly enough about it. Star Wars speaks for itself. Listen to our last podcast if you are interested in Star Wars book sales. Inhumans stuff has been insane. It is so much fun and so good.
Wolf is a very interesting kind of fantasy indie about very supernatural elements. I think it has been sufficiently satisfying but only if readers can get passed the very long first issue. I would highly recommend it to any one who loves vampires and other supernatural things. It gets pretty deep and interesting.
That is it for this week. Let me know what you guys think in the comments section and be sure to stay tuned for our upcoming podcasts. This week most of our shows return and we cannot wait to talk about them! #StayNerdy
Welcome back to the weekly buy list everyone!
I am caught up on all of these books except for Batman and Robin Eternal but I am getting there. All New Wolverine has honestly been amazing. They managed to make X-23 a character with agency and who cares about the mantel she inherited. All New All Different Avengers is fun and entertaining. The second issue of Illuminati was actually much stronger than the first. The Mighty Thor manages to stay excellent and has been quite enjoyable. I have enjoyed Secret Wars but it has just dragged on for far too long. I am glad it is finally concluding this week. Silk is good but I really just love Cindy Moon and the new arc with Black Cat.
Huck is amazing. I would recommend this series to anyone. I find it interesting and genuine and just sensational. Descender gives me the same impression in a different way. The Tim model robot in Descender provides so much character and pathos just as Huck does in his series. Image is so good at putting out phenomenal material.
Stay posted everyone for our upcoming podcast this week and the return of all of our favorite shows!
Welcome to 2016 everyone!
This year is off to a pretty excellent start and I am very excited about the Spider-Man and Deadpool series. I think that this series will be incredibly funny and just a good time. I think it is fair to say that Spider-Man was the original quipster and Deadpool took that to a whole new level. Since then it seems that Spider-Man has gotten even more quippy and funny but has also managed to stick to what makes it uniquely Spider-Man.
Everything else has considered to be good. Deadpool has really started to pick up and Doctor Strange has been both fun and interesting. Paper Girls has been exceptional. If you have the chance I would strongly suggest checking it out. Brian K Vaugn is probably one of my favorite comic book writers currently. read his work, I implore you!
Anyway, that is it for this week. Check out our latest podcasts and let us know what you think of the new sound! Thank you and #StayNerdy!
